Job Title: Back-end API QACountry: RemoteContract or Perm: ContractRate: NegotiableJob DescriptionStrong experience (2-3 yrs) of API testing, both manual and automated, developing automated acceptance tests for APIs in Java and Typescript (We are using Typescript predominantly but still have a small need for Java to maintain legacy systems until we have fully moved over to Typescript)Experience of TypescriptExperience writing tests using BDD, Gherkin techniquesExperience of using GitHub or a similar toolExperience of working collaboratively in Agile Scrum teamsEffort estimation, planning, prioritisation, and time management on an agile teamAutomation code refactoring experienceWriting test approaches for functional testing and exploratory test charters, and communicating test outcomesCI/CD experience, deploying builds (we use AWS CodePipeline and GithubActions, but experience of Jenkins would be useful)Experience of AWS services and AWS tools (e.g. S3, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc)Experience using Postman, Bruno, Insomnia or similar API testing toolsClear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting, documentation, etc.
